Motz Weaver
Founder & Owner
With over 13 years of experience in the shed industry, Motz (Matthew) Weaver has served as both an RTO company owner and a leader of multiple independently owned businesses.
Driven by a passion to use business as a platform for eternal purpose, Motz is committed to building great businesses for a greater cause.
Outside of work, he enjoys life on a hobby farm in North Carolina with his wife and six children. Together, they raise much of their own food and provide opportunities for children to connect with their Creator through hands-on experiences with God’s creation.
Julie Cruz-Martyn
Director of Finance
With more than four decades of experience in accounting and finance, Julie Cruz-Martyn has built a diverse career as an Accountant, Consultant, and Controller.
She now serves as Upward's Director of Finance, where she has provided her expertise for over six years. In the Rent-to-Own industry, Julie’s unique blend of financial expertise and hands-on operational insight has been instrumental in shaping reliable processes.
Anna Lytle
Director of Operations
With five years of dedicated service at Upward, Anna Lytle plays a key role in strengthening operations, refining processes, and supporting the organization through clear, consistent communication. As Project Manager, she focuses on building systems that help the company run smoothly while ensuring teams have what they need to succeed.
Anna works closely with the executive team to translate vision into practical, actionable operations. Her work reflects a deep dedication to excellence and a genuine care for the people she serves.
